Finding the right salon to help you with your all your beauty needs can be tedious and terrifying, especially when those needs include waxing! We don’t want just anyone plucking at our lady parts! We asked our resident Made Women staff to suggest their best picks for professional salons with great results!

Jenny Wax - Santa Monica, CA

Jenny Wax is not only the best place to get a great, almost painless wax that looks perfect every time ... but Jenny herself is incredibly fabulous and I look forward to my visits just to get to chat with her. Vanity Private Studio - Burbank, CA

Vanity Private Studio is the only place to go for any sort of waxing.

I love Queen Bee Waxing because they provide a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere for all of your waxing needs. All of the waxers are expertly trained and are skilled at making the experience practically pain-free. Jodi, the owner, is British so there's lots of cheeky British humor displayed around the spa. I've been going to Tanya at the Wax Shop for years, and she is the only person I trust with such delicate matters. She's clean, thorough, and you'll be in-and-out in 15 minutes tops. Plus the central location has been convenient no matter where in LA I've lived. – Lindsey D.

New Look Skin Center - Glendale, CA

I don't get waxed.  I'm all about getting lasered.... and I do that at New Look Skin Center in Glendale.  Waxing is painful, and you have to do it pretty much every month to keep up on it. It's a drain on your wallet and it's a lot of pain to go through.  With lasering, there's less pain and the results last for months -- eventually you won't need to do anything at all!  The only downside is if you decide you want to ditch the hairless look, you might be stuck. -Amanda

Sophie Wax - West Beverly Hills, CA

After many failed attempts at waxing (don’t ask) I finally found my waxing home.  Sophie Wax is clean, small and efficient! I am in and out in 15mins and it’s as painless as a very personal wax can be.  They have a single dip policy and my esthetician always wears gloves which is important to me. -Serena
